Well, If Cocoon only allowed to download Java Applications into cell phone,
than I build a website by myself and put the Java-jar onto the web, finally,
via that web page I made, download this Jar application, Can it works? Anyone try to do it? I just do a small test, and it looks like failed…

Hi Kieran Jones,
I am puzzled by the same stuff, like you.
I created some games & applications, but I could not install them into Cocoon, damn...
Well, I really can not believe nobody know how to install Java Applications into this handset.
If you did sucessful, mail me, appreciate you very much.

There's little benefit to be had if you can't connect with your friends who aren't on your network, or a network supported by the social network.

I'm in the UK and I can't even try Loopt out because it's restricted to specific US carriers. Social networks shouldn't be restricted by geography - it's dumb.

Haha i guess you're right in way Kat.
But to me it's really the technique that's makes it interesting..
I'm sure it needs allot of development making this really work without keeping in mind your ex boyfiends stepping in wherever you are. But meeting friends right away in a crowded festival without any hassle would be great!

Loopt doesn't even work on my phone and I have Verizon but, from what I have seen of the application, it's more of a pro-stalker tool than a friendly app. It updates your location automatically? What if a jealous ex-boyfriend sees I'm with my new boyfriend and barges in on us at a restaurant and starts to harass us? I'm pretty skeptical of Loopt and I don't think the world needs more ways to stalk people.
